What is “crypto-jacking”?

Crypto-jacking is the process where websites or malicious software use your CPU and/or graphics card to mine a cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, for example. It can seriously affect your computer’s performance.
Check by going to task manager and looking at your CPS usage. If it’s high, close the browser tab you’re suspicious of. If that doesn’t make a difference, there may be a ‘popunder’ which is a hidden tab. Using task-manager to quit the browser should work.
